 Finally got some rain! And Man did it pour. This is almost a 100% crop from the photo I took as I ran for cover (not so much worried about me but my gear) I tried to get a slice of rain with a shallow DOF with my 200mm 1.8 L . Not exactly what I had in my mind as I dreamed the shots I could get - but weather and timing are critical - So beggers can't be choosers sometimes.

Love this shot. The little streaks of rain, the splashes, and the white flower for the eye to come back and focus on again. Great job!

I like this. The sense of motion by the rain drops is greatly enhanced by the splash in the water. Great!

Nice composition and capture of stormy weather. IMHO though, the focus is off (in that I'd like to see it moved a little further back - the DOF is great. I think you could also pump up the color a notch or two.
