Raindrops hitting a mud puddle between Chama, NM and Pagosa Springs,CO. There was a lot of rain on our drive today but not much to take a picture of. Yesterday I took some drops hitting a puddle near Saguache and they turned out pretty well so I tried some again today.

Oh, neat close up. Like the ripples, the indents and raised water. Also like the fact that it's a mud puddle, not some typical clear-as-drinking-water shot. The little plant on the left adds a nice bit of color.

Interesting shot. Might try a few different crops to bring out a stronger subject though.

I like the drop on the right of the frame and the drowning plant towards the left center especially. Good capture.

Very nice stop action on the rain drops. The water, however, is not very eye appealing. Perhaps this would have been nicer as a B&W
