Make the image larger. There seems to be no definite subject in this image. |

Too small, and the cars in the foreground distract from the person... |

Ah, rain in the city. No clear subject though. If this is a tight crop, try moving the pedestrian with the umbrella off center and crop a little less if possible. |

Image is small. No apparent focus/subject. |

Just a bit too much going on in the picture to be truly effective, I think. |

Nothing sticks out as a defining subject in this shot. I'd recommend making use of most of the 640 pixels available instead of less than half, it might make this shot snap. Good luck! |

sorry, but this small image just doesn't hold up in the company of much larger ones. you need to scale your images more appropriately, or you'll get voted down every time. (3) |

Please give us a larger image so we can see what you have to show. |

Well, it's rain.. but I think you probably could have gotten a better shot. It kind of just looks like a wet street. Plus it's a bit small and blurry. But nice try! |

this image is just too small...and I feel it doesn´t have a very strong focus point...but I do like the lines the cars make towards the person with the umbrella |

You should take a look at the tutorial about sizing shots for challenges. You'll do much better if you use the entire 640 pixels allowed. This shot is too small. |

Nice point of view, showing the impossibiity of crossing in the rain (and in the traffic). To get the image larger, use the Save for Web... feature in Photoshop, or just save it at 72 dpi and about 600-640 pixels on the longest side. |

I am sure you got tons of comments telling the size of your photo is too small. That's right. You can use the full 640 pixels allowed. That would really help your photo. |

Too much of a snapshot especially since there doesn't seem to be anything there that you were in hurry to capture! |

I'm trying to leave comments on any photos I score below a 5. I hope you will find it helpful.
I scored this 3. You will probably get many comments about the size of the submssion being too small. It's difficult to see the subject. What makes is worse is that I think the composition is very busy and makes it hard to for the viewer to dtermine what you were wanting us to see. The most notcable thing to me is the white back end of the truck on the left. It's obviously raning, but there is no real interest here. |
