 I really felt lucky to arrive just in time to see this phenominal display of nature. The storm was approaching fast and the winds were really scarey at times, but I managed to capture the rain over the water without getting wet, I managed to make it back to my car just before it blew the rain ashore.

Pretty good shot - horizon line looks a little tilted to me. The image is a tad OOF and noisy, but not anything that a little PS work couldn't fix (I don't think). Overall, not bad at all.

Certainly a good scene for the challenge - but i think you need to work on ideas of composition and processing. Certainly more contrast would have helped bring out the depth of tones in the sky, and could have made the dark grey even more threatening. Compositionally - good that you haven't placed the horizon centrally as so many do, but the tree and landing stage make a very confused left-hand side of the image, especially with the smaller areas of tree intruding into frame.

Nice lighting on a stormy day. I think I would have liked to to see the focus on the tress and deck more clear.

Looks like a storm is brewing. Nice shot, but doesn't feel rainy from this pint of view.

dock and tree distracting. A lower view to separate the two objects would help IMO

lots of potential for a dark mood here, especially with that kind of clouds. the crop misses a bit i feel, with the left side branches taking away too much attention from my eyes. 6
