Definitely rain. The road leads into (and out of) the frame nicely, but it seems a bit dark to me, with the one section on the far right being blown out.

I like the dark, raininess, natural framing, and curved lines. Nicely composed, but the subject matter is rather 'dry'.

simple and straightforward... i think the tree trunk on the right is a tad too dark hence my eye seems to gravitate back there all the time... remember that viewer tends to follow lines in your image... i wish there was an end point to your leading line :( 7

Pretty good shot. The highlights are a bit blown and the other areas are a bit too dark to distinguish much detail. Also, is the horizon straight? Certainly a scene that many can relate to.

Strong use of that big curve compositionally. I wonder if the massive contrast mightn't be taking things too far - throwing out the baby with the rainwater, perhaps; maybe less of that would allow some stringer degrees of tone to show through, and perhaps take the water on the road less to burn-out point. I think this level of black/white runs too contrary to the scene you've captured, almost I can feel the greyness of that susurban world trying to get out through it.

Interesting perspective. Simple but very effective.

Perhaps a bit brighter? My image I am seeing is much too dark around the edges. The street is well exposed, though.

Interesting contrast, definitely wet. Simple composition but pretty strong effect. 7

I can't say why... but I like it. Maybe because it is like secretly visiting someone's quiet, off-the-beaten path neighborhood (experiencing what I wouldn't normally get to experience). I wonder if different cropping or a slightly different angle would make it even more.
