| This is just beautiful, very expressive. Only down side is that person behind her, but the DOF dealt with that effectively. Nice idea with the frame as well, remind me to copy that.... :-) |

| Emotional and excellent opera image..good isolation of subject with this dof..color and composition are very good. |

| With a shot like this you miss the elements that really tell you that you are looking at a performing opera singer. Apart from that I like the way the foreground singer is lit, it just needs more expression on her face I think. I'm uncertain about the background. While it is excellently thrown out of focus, the background person is so bright that she is distracting. |

| Good stuff, but for me, the silver border inside the photo doesn't work. I dont know, its like your trying to constrain the picture w/ the border, but stuff is exceeding it, I dont know if that makes sence, but it just doesn't work for me. I like the photo a lot though, just w/o the border |

| Wow, I'd love to photograph an opera. Shame the performer in the background is so tight against the performer in the foreground, I'd have stepped to the left to seperate them. Not a fan of distracting borders. Lovely catchlights. |
