Thank guys for your comments!
As for the shot itself. It is not a portrait photo. Although I'd wish to. It is a street candid shot. this girl did not know I was shooting at her at the moment.
I am still new to photography (3 months). I am sucking everything I could about photography. Some of you have given me very good critiques that I badly needed. Here I have to thank BobsterLobster for his helpful critiques. Next time, I should be able to do better. :)
Thank you all for the votes and comments, again!
Happy photography!

Yeah, me too. It was one of a few 10's and I stand by it. Outstanding in it's clarity and dimension!! |

interesting. i like the flower in the hair. but the recorder seems out of place. i think a guitar would have been more appropriate with the hippie/beachy look |

Wonderful detail. This is really good!!!! It has that urban edge. She looks like a true love child. Upon 2nd review, this one still is one of my favorites. It is totally natural with no filtration - just a natural picture of a girl and her recorder. . 10 |

What is it that keeps bringing me back to this one?!... Her expression is great, and the simplicity is very effective. The colour and lighting is good, as is the composition. 10 |

Would have converted to B&W would have reduce the model's skin tone fluctuations |

Your subject is great, but the composition seems off... why is the recorder right by the edge of the frame, but the head has plenty of space? Surely it should be the other way round? I'm personally missing the elbows... perhaps portrait orientation? The background is terrible... how would it have looked if you got right by the wall and shot her profile without the brick wall behind her? |

There are many street artist shots and yet each one has appeal. Yours is the most "bittersweet" subject. |
