I liket his photo of everyday life. I hope it does ok in the challenge. I think the focus is nice. Good luck.

ah, an unenviable part of the female maintenance routine :)
looks like an on-camera flash was used for this... not the best way to capture the human form (or just about anything else). I suggest that next time you try either natural light or at least something that's not the camera's built-in flash.

Not for me, no context to catch me interest.

Nice idea, but a bit flat.

The activity isn't something I'd normally want to see someone else perform. The model looks like she has good skin tone. It's a shame the pose doesn't do her justice.

A very good technically photo, a couple things bother me, the first is the towel on the hair, that's just bizzarre, the second is the stopped water, I think a bit of extra motion blur on that could have made the shot a bit better.

Focus is perfect but I think this image needs a little more contrast/level work to make it pop. The subject seems to be her action rather than nudity. The detail is well done as is the crop. Good luck in the challenge!

Actually very good. Technically very well done .

Nice stop-action on the water. Good lighting, good focus, and good dof. I think this might have a little more pop with a little more model in the image coupled with a portrait crop. The portrait would compliment the vertical arm, vertical razor, and vertical column of water. Nice technicals on this shot.

I have to follow on the title on this one... routine. I can't find much that is interesting about the shot. Black and white is rather gray, no mastery of the black or white. The model's angle is off and doesn't seem to allow any kind of emotions through. Composition is a bit compromised by the framing as well. 5

the wet look can be so appealing.

I think this wins with me because it is a very natural shot 10

wouldn't the towel on her head get all wet?
was the shaving shot chosen for anonymity? I would have prefered washing to shaving myself. A loafer under the arm or accross the chest perhaps so you could still use the arm to hide the face. There is something harsh about shaving that isn't so evident with washing.

INteresting concept. IMHO the contrast needs to be better and the water falling is distracting. 7

not very artistic or interesting capture.

Definately fits the challenge, but not a shot that I personally find all that appealing. I guess I'm a little old school to see artistic merit in such a routine part of life. I'm assuming that you used the flash here to catch the drops. IMHO this gives the shower an odd appearance. I'm surprised that you don't have more harsh shadows behind the rest of the figure...

i dont really see much aesthetic value in this shot... if was in color perhaps it could have been a razor ad shot. technically i would say the shot lacks tonal range and contrast. lighting is also not very interesting.

Cool shot. If it had a higher contrast within the gray value I would have scored it higher. Good catch on the water droplets as well.

great water shot! I would have like this even better had the arm not been covering the face

The towel doesn't work at all and I think the cropping is too tight.... maybe back off a little and show more of the model.

On camera flash doesn't create nice lighting.
Still an interesting idea.

the tones seem a little flat- you have no dark range.

The stoppage of the water is good. I think I'd take off the towel, so the hair could be wet as well. Good clear capture. I might up the contrast a tad as well.

Interesting, but not very artistic. More mundane.

needs more contrast. looks muddy. work on your desaturation technique.

Towel is distracting in this shot, good DOF and lighting is great.
