 Used a custom WB that actually turned out a bit more blue-ish than green. Levels, curves, loads of fun with color adj, severe crop, despeckle, minor sharpening, border.

I didn't see the movie but read some very interesting essays about The Matrix (thanks for posting those links, Jubei!). These really got me thinking and i ended up with four very different directions on how to approach this challenge. Settled on this one, even though it will probably be the most cliché of the submissions.

While doing the post-processing on this image, it dawned on me that it had a very phallic and SM implication. That cable almost looks like a SM whip. The word 'dominatrix' crossed my mind and from there it was easy to tie it in with the Matrix. Sexual power is an important variant of power. With this image i wanted to convey the double-meaning of how The Matrix gets its juice ;)

This was a great and thought-provoking challenge and i really enjoyed it.

cool industrial abstract. I'd like to see it with less noise though (unless that was your intent) . Check out www.neatimage.com for a good noise reduction utility.

Like the composition - though the visible section of the upright is a shame (perhaps including more of it might have been an option, make it look less like a problem?). I'm not convinced that the noise suits the image, and don't like the sharpening artefacts. oh, and I loathe the red bit of the border :-)
