The title is great. I love the story it tells. I gave this a 7 and giggled when I voted because it made me think of pushing my little brothers around as a child. Good diagonal composition and nice contrast. |

The name 'Spiro' is an inside joke in my family. In my mind I saw Spiro pushing my little sister and her dropping her ice cream cone. Then she gets up and runs inside screaming for mommy. Funny too, I see this clearly, but it is at the house my grandparents lived in when we were children and lived on Long Island.
Thank you all for the comments.

I realy like this image. It brings back many memories of childhood or the aching feeling you get when you hear kids screaming in the park when they have dropped their ice-cream. The image works really well in black and white, and as previously mentioned adds a nostalgic feel to it. The whites look slightly blown out, but nothing that affects the image in any major way. The cone and the textures of the background all look pefectly sharp to me, and the contrast seems fine. Good luck with the challenge :) |

the contrast is a little bit high for my liking but it makes a nice effect. |

I like the new perspective. It's interesting to look at. Great depth of B&W's. ~8 |

The broken cone actually envokes emotion in this dramatic black and white contrast. Nice pic. |

If you'd crop all the way to the tip of the cone on the right and have the equal amount of space above and below, I think it'd be perfect. Really nice use of black and white!! 8 |

Looks great in black and white, background surface could be a tad lighter and cropped wider so I can figure out what angle this was taken at. 7 |
