 don't worry... only the bottle was from back then :^) An old fashioned milk bottle, filled, and placed next to an old stone wall. Shot was taken with a tripod and converted to black & white for the challenge.

I feel this image lacks a bit of contrast. lots of potential here, i think, with a bit more aggressive post processing, even within basic edit rules.

Maybe a little darker would be better, but not bad on the B&W conversion. The image doesn't grab me though. 6

Love those old-timey milk bottles. Very nostalgic. Lighting seems a little flat, and the background garners more attention than the subject. It might have been more interesting if it told a story. Like a cat trying to drink the milk, or something.

blacker blacks would make this really nice - feels like the focus is on the vertical seem instead of the milk? so a sharper subject would help this too.

I like the placement of the bottle against the wall. The focus is better on the wall than the milk though.

I find this shot a rather flat. It could have done with some light to give it some life. Meets the challenge though

Seems the wall is in focus and the milk bottle isn't. Should be the other way around

Hummm, lacks a point of interest! Also, the focus seems to be on the wall, and not on the bottle (not sure if that was what u intended)

I'd crop tight on the right side, up the contrast and really get the bottle in clear focus.
