It's a visual explosion! Slippy?

I can not really see the dairy

IMHO the lighting is flat and doesn't have the emotional impact I'm looking for in this challenge. 6

I think if the colors were more bright and maybe a different angle would have been better.

Good colours, but the focus is a bit soft. Also, the composition doesn't seem to me to have a real centre of interest.

I'm sure you're getting clobbered for not meeting the challenge despite the "five cheese" aspect. There may be cheese in the dressing, but we only know that because you told us, and the dressing is only one equally important subject among several in the image. As a result, the image is "about" salad, not dairy. :-(

a photograph of something that is surely delicious, but compositionally and creatively it is lacking. there is no center of interest, barely even a focal point... why, I ask you, would I want to spend my time looking at this picture? I don't mean that harshly--it's just a question that I think every photographer should ask themselves, especially when putting work on public display. I think, would someone else want to have this on their wall? if the answer is no, there generally needs to be a good reason to display it otherwise...

Wow, makes you want the recipe. Very pretty. Seemed a tad out of focus, could be my eyes though.

this photo could have used maybe some contrast boosting. none of the colors really stand out which i think they could. i wish the cheese could have been made to stand out more

i can see how it fits with the compatition but i think its a little to far from the conventional dairy products... it made me really have to think of how it fits in..

This is a nice picture but I would have liked it more if the colours had been brighter.

My eye doesn't know where to stop. There isn't a focal point for my eye to rest on. Other than that, the salad is in focus, and the colors are dramatic.
