I don't expect this to do well but my friends wanted me to enter it.

This is Aasgard Pass. It's a 2200ft. climb in less then a mile. It's a killer hike, taking me and two friends 2 1/2 Hrs. to climb it.

The photo was sort of a last minute thing like "Hey try this". I'll post some more pictures of our trip in my portfolio after the challenge is over.

Good landscape, but it feels like the shoe is just placed in the picture. Maybe if you had shown the shoe being used to climb up the mountain?

would be a super shot if ya had a bit more contrast to pickup the mountains better.

Another case of anthropomorphism which makes the shot seem (like the other examples) far too contrived and forced. If you had been making some comment about a lost shoe maybe or something this may have worked.

Gorgeous location! I think if you increase the contrast, it will make the colors stand out even more. Very nice photo.

Maybe you should have put both shoes.. I think it would have made it look a little more reasonable. I like the view though.

Great idea. Sharpness lacking in photo, and colors seem a little hazy all around.

Nice shot, but I think you failed to capture the mountains in their beauty because the lighting was so low.

*wink* don't loose the shoe. :)

You must be very proud of your shoe for its accomplishments.
