| the lighting is pretty rough. at first glance you can't even tell that's a lemon in the drink. |

| Adding the straws for color is a good idea. The background is So bright, it feels as if the drink in the foreground isn't the primary focus, but I think you meant it to be. Switching the lighting to the foreground would help this shot. |

| Darn, I feel that the straws are actually robbing this photo of it's quality. instead of enhancing it they are making it look cheaper somehow. I think possibly a lemon slice on the edge of the glass and maybe a none too flashy stir stick would have added class. The only way these colorful straws would work in this photo for me is if they had something definite to do with the title, then I could overlook their distracting presence. Love the lighting you used and the exposure and composition. Still rates a 6. |

| This one tough for me. The glass is great, colors, sharpness. The lemons look a little blown in spots, I see the DOF your going for, maybe a little better lighting on the lemons and complete solid focus through out the image........bump to 5 |

| I like the exposure of the foreground. The lemons could have used a softer light, not only to diffuse the harsh shadows, but tat section of the pic is a little burnt out. |

| Since the lemon wedge is floating, I don't think the blurred whole fruits in the background are really necessary for the title to work.. I like the focus of the glass and the bubbles on the straws. Their color and opposing placement is nicely done. |
