This is WAAAAY after the challenge, and I'm guessing that it's "dark and light".
Whatever the case may be, I like the shot.

Hi,

Interesting, I read all the comments and nobody seems to understand what makes this photo fit the challenge.
My first guess would be that the snow and ice are resmbling 2 figures, mybe being Drew and Langdon.
But to be honnest, I still can't make the connection.
Your own comment didn't include any hints for me.
Technicaly there's nothing wrong with your picture, but if you participate in a challenge remember that people will vote you down if they don't "get it"
I've been there a few times.
Stepping "out of the box" can be dangerous if you want to score. It can also be fun, if you don;t care about those points.
(Been there too and doing it again this week)
Keep on shooting, it's a nice enough photo.

Gr,

Peter

This is one of my favorites, although I have no idea how it connects to D&L. Assuming that I'm just being slow and not getting it, I'm rating it on photo quality alone, which I think is at least an 8.

I don't see the "D" and the "L".

No matter how hard I look at it, I can't find the "D & L" looks a bit grainey. It's too monochromatic.

not a visually appealing photo

I'm afraid I don't understand this one. Perhaps I'm being dense - dark & light?

Where in the world are you? Snow this time of year? Cool shot.

I like the "minimalism" of this image, it really has a nice abstract quality about it...D & L?......A big ol' "E" is what pops out at me most really.

It's probably just me, but I'm having a hard time seeing the D & L. Neat idea and nice photo though.

..?

I don't get the reference, maybe I'm having a brain freeze. The lighting is good, but the image overall seems a bit grainy.
