Wonderful shot just as it is, Robert. Some aspects that I like are the paper-thin space between the baby's head and mother's cheek, and also the implied line from baby's mouth to eye to mother's lips and face... really gives a feeling of depth, and evokes the sensation that I am sitting right there, and that for a brief instant I have caught Rosie's attention. You know better than I do of the few technical flaws that may exist, but who gives a rip. Captivating photo, and one that I am sure will be cherished. |

This is a great picture! The only change I would make is to bump up the exposure a bit. |

What a gorgeous baby! I feel she looks a little too dark? Yes, wait until daylight to evaluate it again. |

I love this pic! Of course I love all images that tell a story and this one does just that. I don't know if I would do anything to it but I would see how it looked with the contrast lowered just a bit... hard to say. I never know how I'll like something before it's in front of me. adorable baby too :0)
... I like the crop!!!! wait- take out mommy's hand at lower left, then crop is perfect! Her expression is a great part of the image too!

Not a window, a light. Shot by lamplight at ISO 1600. Crop doesn't work, I'd get too close to the ear or lose the neckline. If I went any further with this, I'd clone that stuff out in the lower left. Doesn't look that red to me, here, but I'll have to wait until daylight to evaluate the print. |

cute baby... i love the expressive eyes... too bad there's a glare on his right eye... window perhaps? i would just tone down the skin color so it isn't as red and maybe just a tighter crop so the mom's fingers/hand is not in the frame :) |
