I can't see the detail of the shoe very well. The lighting is a little off and I focus more on the bright area of the canvas than the shoe itself. |

I like the way you posed the shoe with the flowing laces.
If you are going to use a thin bed sheet as a backdrop, it is important that you iron out the creases in to to achieve an even backdrop. The backlighting is interesting, but you have not made this image a silhouette, thus there needed to be a light to counterbalance in the front. Right now the viewer is aware that details exist, but cannot quite grasp them. |

Nice simple arrangement. I think you should have illuminated the shoe a little better - it's tough to see the detail that is there. The backlit sheet looks a little messy too, which detracts from the simplistic feel your photo projects. |

all the colors in this photo are so similar. and the really bright color on the sheet in the back is very disracting. |

I'd like to see the light on the shoe and not behind it. The wrinkles of the fabric is a tad distracting to me. The backlighting might be been more effective if the shoe were just a silhouette. |
