| The light seems kinda harsh to me and the background brightness seems to detract from the main subject. Hope this is helpful. |

| I like this for some reason. I can't really explain. I like the DOF with the back shoe being a bit blurred. The blue and white tones of the shoe against the natural browns of the ground are a nice contrast. I assume that's water in the background and just that hint of it work to create a lazy day sense. |

| This photo has some flaws, like the blowouts in the out of focus background, but the mood is still strong. The composition helps a bit as well. Brown, orange and blue work together. I originally scored this an 8 and I still stand behind that. |

| this image is suffering from over sharpening and cracking up the saturation. I do like the dof and composition. |

| I like how the focus is only on the slipper in the foreground--the left and right corners in the front & the background being so heavily blurred. Nice dark, bold colors. Very evocative and textured. |

| Did you cut out the background or something? It kind of looks a little too sharp or something. I love the front one though, it's a really nice set up. |
