Had a vison of a retired boxer/professional athlete that was forced into retirement, and all that remained of his former life were a pair of badly worn training sneakers... As you can see, that vison wasn't very well realized... Simple shilloete pic taken against the background of a window in my basement.

Although love the colors together, it doesn't help the subject like it should. The compositon is good, but It's like the photo couldn't speak for itself if the title didn't tell you what to think.

the black border takes the energy right out of this for me. The silo on the blue glass blocks would be very cool, with little to no border IMO. Cool idea though,

interesting comp but it lacks something....Sorry. Maybe if the glass were crisper the sillhouette would come of better..?

Love the coldness from the blue and the shadows.

A very strong image with great potential. It seems like the viewer isn't square on to the window, and is looking up at it. If the shot had been taken straight on, and the top had been cropped to remove the distracting roof details and the bottom cropped to even out the border this would have made the window the canvas and the silhouette would have been even stronger. 5

I like the black and blue coloring. I wonder what effect it would have if you cropped a bit more off of the bottom of the photo so that the shoes and glass aren't so centered?
