after a long and busy and tired day , my daughter went to sleep....
the shoes are waiting for tommorow...

long exposure and outside flash did the job of lighting the shoes only.
photoshop : curves , wb, contrast, save for the web.

I have 3 children, I can relate to this photo. I like the lighting and the baby off in the distance. Nice.

Very effective use of depth of field and lighting to pick out the shoes. An adorable image all round, but could have been even more intimate by cropping out the wall, and a little of the left hand side bringing in tighter to the babys head. Whereas in other situations such close cropping might appear claustrophobic and too intense, this subject would easily disarm any such impressions and actually makes the mood even warmer and more cosy.

Maybe a tighter crop on top to remove the items in the background?

I might have cropped the top at the top of the bed. Would get rid of the distracting blanket or sheet at top right. Nice shot!

I find the bedspread a tad distracting. I like the idea and the vantage point. Maybe a filter would work well on this one?
