I simply used one home-made softbox to the right of the camera, at about a 45-degree angle from my model. He was leaning forward a little, so the light comes from a slightly higher spot.
I also used a black radial gradient layer in post-processing, to hide the clean cut of his arm and sleeve on the light's side. The rest of the image was already fading to black. |

ok, that's just freaky. this shot, in many many ways, reminds me of ME...say...10 to 15 years ago. Uncanny...
