this really was disappointing, all the way around. guess that's to be expected when you show people something different than what they're used to seeing...i guess it was just an idea that couldn't be executed well enough to connect with this crowd. i guess i'll just chew on some sour grapes for a while...
yeah, from the top, it looks a bit more dynamic, something like this
typically, i enjoy getting comments, but honestly, not this time. most of these comments just hammered home the nature of the game here, and at the moment, i don't find that useful.
i don't know; each time i look at this, the first thing i see are the black legs, which lead me to the black shoes. then i find myself scanning the other shoes. when I look at it, i can see that the man in black is ringed by others; the dress dictates to me that he is the primary character (ie, focal point).
unfortunately, editing rules wouldn't allow me to do anything about the background, and there wasn't any other angle to shoot that would have included enough shoes. and this being the real world and not a studio shot, there wasn't much opportunity to ask for do-overs ;-) |

| Why is it the interview???? I would have gotten a little bit closer to my subjects to avoid getting a good inch of asphalt in my face. The orange man in the background is causing tension and kind of reminds me of an OOMPA LOOMPA. Which is just scary. |

| this photo is like you have been evesdropping on someones footwear. The image is busy/cluttered and has no real focal point. Shoes are part of the image, but the image really isnt about shoes. |

| I like how there are alot of shoes and the color but I don't like how the picture seems a little too crowded and that there isn't really anything interesting going on. |

| Good idea, I think if you zoomed in more, or maybe just cropped off the bottom it might have made it more interesting |
