Nice DOF use to focus on this interesting characteristic of this shoe. Nice coloring as well. Cheers! |

I liked this the moment I saw it ... then my partner pointed out that at the end of the day the zipper would be undone .... What a man! great color, great image, awesome feeling ... |

Great stuff. Fantastic effect, I would use this in a magazine ad without any problem at all. I am bugged by the shoe at the end of the day still being zipped up. Even if they are usually kicked off like this, if there is a story being told about the end of the day, then these little details help convey the story. Picky? yes but this is a tough school and the commercial world is tougher. |

Strange, the line of the zipper is in the middle of the horizontal part of the pic, but all the other parts like color, aperture control/dof, vertical subject placement and lighting makes this a pretty strong photo in this challenge. 8 |

Like the almost metallic look and feel you have going. The shadowing and the colors all work for a great shot. BTW - great pair of shoes too. |

interesting shot. However, I wish that you had made better use of the rule of thirds and horizontally flipped the image. |

This is beautiful. Good Eye. Great name for the photo too. I can't tell if it has too much highlight on the bottom or not. Whether or not it's still beautiful |

Nice colours, and a good idea... but shouldn't it be unzipped? |

Great light. Nice toning. Shallow DOF creates a really abstract feel yet still recognisable. |

Very well done, perhaps a little less orange tint and maybe more towards brown tone. |

The DOF is so powerful here picking out the zip at the heel that I don't know why you tried to force the "end of day" idea. This way, without the title you have a bit more trouble figuring what's going on in the picture. A protrait shot standing up would have been better I think instead. Tilt your head to the right and see. |
