This is one of those shots that if people would just stop and take the time to look at it, instead of flashing through to vote, then I think it would have a far greater impact..beautifully subtle.

Very very emotional for me. Wonderful ...evocative. But they look like vases, not boots upon second glance.

The more I look at your photo, the more I like it. The colors are very eye catching and the boots are subtle - like a sunken treasure would appear. Nice job.

Agonised over this for ages. You got a great depth of field for being in so close and you really have to study it to find the boots but I couldn't get past a 5

This picture is wild. I love how the boots look almost like part of the brickwork. However, I wish it were a bit sharper on the toe of the left boot. I find the blur pretty distracting.
