| Not so much a shot of the skates as a snapshot of a skater I'm afraid. If you went down to the ice and asked nicely he may even have let you get some good closeups or action shots of the skates skidding to a halt or something. |

| challenge is for shoes, and this does not fit to me |

| The shot is there, but I think there is a little to much blur on the right skate and maybe a tighter shot/crop would have had a better scoring result. I think the shadow and the colors are very cool. But might have sacrificed the shadow to crop in tighter on the left skate and skater. Like the picture. |

| I like the colors that make up the is. Nice job. I also like how he's in the air.. But maybe if he was a little more focus. Nice job though. |

| Interesting. Not totally relevant to the challenge, but at least it's not another pair of tired work boots. Lacks sharpness. |

| Beautiful shot. Great lighting, action, contrast, color. I love the texture on the ice. Maybe try for a facial shot, too? |

| Unusual and a crystal sharp image of the skate. Very artful and different from everybody else's tennis shoes. |
