This appears slightly out of focus, if it hadn't been for that it would have made a good shot. No need for the plant in the background, try to ellminate anything that doesn't add to the photo.

shoes are blurry ... looks like a longer exposer and the feet moved. The plant in the background looks in focus leading me to believe that. More lighting might cut down on the exposure time or make sure the feet stay still. :)

Nice composition. . . I bet you are hearing way too many times tho about the focus (sorry). I've been on the receiving end of the focus issue many times, that's the only reason I know. Good luck.
