Greetings from the Critique Club!
Well, what can I say?
WOW! I love this shot, there really isn't a lot to critique on because it was a basic challenge you couldn't do any cloning (like the branch across his back) but then again I wouldn't touch that branch, it adds to the picture and really helps capture the overall mometn.
The clarity, the overall composition of the shot is wonderful, the only other thing I would have changed for my personal taste was to bump up the contrast just a touch, barely a touch, a whisper is more like it. Other than that, WELL DONE! :)

| Very cool bird shot with excellent composition. There does seem to be a green caste, so if you take down that color a bit, this photo should look even better. Nicely done! |

While I think this photo is really great, I find there are a lot of distracting elements in it that are obviously way beyond the control of the photographer.
The bird itself appears to merit a 10, but I can't go there because of these distractions. |

| This shot makes a stunning wildlife or bird shot, but I feel you could have pulled the frame out so the bird is no more than an attractive and beautiful decoration on the branch. As it stands it looks more like the branch is merely a prop to stage the bird. |

| If it weren't for that one branch right at the bird's head line...this would be a terrific shot. Great colors, clarity and nicely composed off center. |

| Great capture! Looks like a bit of leftover processing around the upper edges of the hawk, but otherwise great focus and DOF. Nice natural tones too. |
