| Beautiful horse - with bizarrely fascinating eyes. Great composition and overall feel to the shot, but the glare from the left side of the horse is a little strong IMHO. I know it's supposed to be high contrast, but I think it only needs to be as light as the dark areas are black. Still overall very strong entry. |

| The mane is wonderful!! What if you cropped the whole left side of the image where it is overblown? Maybe even cut the horses face right in half? |

| This is a nice shot...would have been rated a tad bit higher if the *overall* contrast of the shot was more intense...and not just the highlight areas on the horse. Try closing down 1-1.5 stops then fiddle with the levels a bit in PS to get a more contrastly look without having extreme amounts of highlights. The focus of the shot seems a bit blurry as well, but that may very well due to the image compression. Overall, a good shot..could be great with a bit more tweaking! |
