Greetings from the Critique Club
This image, justifiably, scored well in the High Contrast Challenge. Technically, it appears to be flawless and it certainly meets the Challenge.
While an off-center composition can be visually exciting, I think this one may suffer just a touch from that technique. It might be interesting to try this image with more of the old camera cut off on that right side, or pull the entire camera into the frame, but still very much off-center.
You have a very good eye for photography. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work on DPC. |

Neat old camera. Love the angle you put it at in the photo. Not real hip on the border uneveness however. But the contrast is good on the camera. 9 |

I gave this a 9 without hesitation upon my first view. I love the tilt and the color reflecting in the lens. The texture and detail of the camera are wonderful. |

Beautiful tones on a certainly-aged subject, though I'm not sure what your reason was for cutting it off at the right side of the frame. |

Beautiful tones and I really like the composition. Interesting and unusual border too - I think I like it. :-) |

Superb image of an old camera, doesn't really tell me that it's high contrast. Yes the contrast slider was most likely pumped up, but you are still left with avery dark image with some contrast on the camera's large dial.

Love the photo (ane the stark contrast); just don't care for the framing. 8 |

I was prepared to like this a lot but I am distracted by the asymetrical border. And the crop could be more effective if it weren't so tight on the right and so generous on the left. Probably lost 2 points over these distractions. Otherwise, very nice subject, capture, post processing and presentation. |
