Some nice areas of contrast, but the background and sky are so very similar. For me, that tones down the overall effect. |

This has great lines and certainly meets the challenge with high contrast. The thing I like most about this shot is the fact that the road looks like it's a 2-dimensional paper thin flat surface floating in the air held up by the white posts. Very cool shot. Bumping up. |

Dodge and burn that sky a little, and you would have a totally Icelandic-style shot here, Zoom. : )
Seriously, I think this is a wonderful b&w, focus is right on, the light is perfect-o, it's a kind of mysterious-feeling image...
Dare I say that this is one of the best b&w shots I've seen from you? : ) |
