I like the contrast, but it looks like he doesn't have any eyes and that blood red tongue makes me wonder if he just bit someone... :-)

The poor dog looks too dark for me to make him out clearly, since the white sky is sooo bright. It looks like a sharp, clear shot of him too, so it's too bad about the sky. He (or she) is an adorable pup!

Nice viewpoint. The selective desat doesn't work for me here. Is the horizon level? 8.

This photo has seen a little to much PS for my taste. Sure it is high contrast, but only from the results of PS not camera work.

I think this would have been much nice if you could have captured more details in the animals face. A fill flash or digital flah (if your camera has that) would have worked nice. Still, not a bad shot.

No, does not work to contrast a black dog ... looks like a black thing with red spot in the middle.

Nice capture... especially the flying mud. I would prefer either if the dog was completely in silhouette or else with his features more visible.
