A desklamp for light and the white undershirt I was wearing for subject. Taken in black and white... duotoned with black and a dark red color. No other post processing.

Boy I got everything wrong this week. MY #1 is in 100th place, my 32 is in 90th and here is a photo in my top ten almost dead last.. I loved the zebra curtains shot and thought it had better contrast than yours but I still like this one a lot. Now that I read your notes, I think it is the red that makes it interesting. Good job.

More shadows, or deeper ones, might have been cooler, but I think it's interesting as is, since I think the whole 'light and shadow' thing is a great way to highlight the concept of duotones.

The texture and shadows are good, but for my personal taste I find there isnt really much here to hold my attention. It may just be that I do not appreciate this style of photography, and whereas I dont see anything 'wrong' with it, I just dont get a feeling of 'wow' or 'interesting'

I see what you,re trying to accomplish here. I feel if would be more effective without the wrinkles. That way, it would flow better. Jacko.
