Why is the car in this photo? And I like the framing, but using a flag must be hurting ya right now...Anyways, nice shot, good luck.

Is "pass time" a pun? And besides, isn't America's pasttime baseball?

Okay, enough title critique. I suppose it's an interesting shot, what with the flag and pole framing it (although is that an American car in the background? Too blurry to see), but I'm afraid I'm a little prejudiced against that sort of thing, too many jingoistic people out there. The tone is somewhat sickly -- a deeper sepia or a flat black and white or even something else might have worked better.

Yikes! It looks like the kid is going to be hit by the car! The idea of framing the action with the flag is an interesting one - but just doesn;t work here. Black and white stripes wouldn;t say Us flag to me unless I saw the title. the kid isn't in focus, and tho he looks like he is pitching a baseball he's throwing a bigger ball. If you could get a DOF that brought all into focus, and backed up so more of the flag is visible, and frames the boy more closely it would be better.

I like the way the flag is framing this, but the shot overall seems a little muted to me. Perhaps more contrast would help.

interesting composition, after looking at it for a while, it makes me wonder if the car is moving towards the boy, guess because i've got two of my own and i watch for things like that.

Respectfully, I'm assuming it's baseball you're talking about (America's passtime), and not throwing stuff at the flag :)

I think the car in the shot is distracting from an otherwise very nicely framed picture.

To bad you got the car in the picture, I would have given it a ten. oh well great shot I love the old time feel to it.

Hmm. This could be titled "America's Pasttime" alluding to football. It could also be "Americans Pass Time" alluding to the boy and his playing. Which did you have in mind? Otherwise, this is a really engaging, interesting photo! The flag really frames the boy well. Sepia gives the whole a nostalgic feeling.
