Compared to others in this challenge, the contrast doesn't have the same high impact. Very sweet photo though - a fun "Kodak moment" captured.

to me this have covered almost the whole gray scale, which is the opposite to high contrast.
Subject matter is lovely, this is a really sweet capture and should be treasured forever, but just doesnt fit into this challenge.

Excellent DOF. Good use of B&W and lighting. IMO, I think this could have even a little more contrast. Beautiful child. Looks like he's having fun in front of the camera.

Nice BW pic but not high contrast.
An even spread of grays shows up in the histogram whereas a spike at both the black and the white extremeswould have given a high contrast. I don't think that this is the best subject for this challenge.

What a cute kid. I love his hair and darling smile. The angle of the shot is really relaxed and fun.

Not sure this is a really high contrast image but his expression is nice
