Great composition John, and that technique worked perfectly to simulate IR! I'll have to try it! |

Really love this high contrast shot, it's one that stands out in the crowd! Dark line along the left of the dead tree is a bit distracting. |

Is this an IR photograph? I like how the tree seems to grab the sun. 7. |

This has all the makings for a really great shot, but the processing is a distraction for me. There are remnants visible on the edges of many objects and the sky (while unique and pretty cool) has a very odd shape to the darkness that is obviously intentional, but I'm not convinced works entirely. I really like the focus and overall composition though, and it's very high contrast. |

Love how the light fits right between the branches! |

looks almost like an IR exposure... I like the perspective distortion in this photograph. |

This is an excellent photo. An adjustment to mid tones would gotten a ten from me. |

The IR look certainly produces a strong High Contrast look IMHO. Very nice. I think the composition would have been stronger if the sun/moon had fallen on the intersecting lines of the top right thirds. |

This is amazing, the way you managed to capture the moon in between the branches is very effective, top ten IMHO. 10 |

Would this have looked more dramatic without the left-hand third of the shot? The light and the branches are superb...well done |

I love the composition of the shot, not sure if a tighter shot/crop would have been better. A little less post editing for me, but still a Nice Job. |

This is the 4th snowy picture I've seen so far...where in the world is there snow in September? I like the craggy tree. |
