Surprised this didn't score higher (perhaps not as much branch as fruit? Silly as it's interpretation clearly meets the challenge) -- didn't vote this one. The sunkissed fruit makes the shot as it offers color and form.

Quite an outstanding capture with texture that is felt under one's fingertips. 8

i really like how the blurred background makes the branch pop out and b ur main focus

needs a bit more focus

Very simple, very nice.

Not very interesting after looking it for a bit, but it's a nice photo. The branch is in good focus too. (Isn't it Prunus Cerasus?)

Essentially a great shot, I like the strong DOF, and form in the cherries as it is, and would like to see the strength of the line in the branch be stronger. Had the viewpoint moved back it would have made the cherries less the main subject and allowed them to regress to the backseat as no more than a beautifully caught decoration on the branch, and a focal point on the subject (the twig).

this reminds me of childhood...i used to pick plums from my grandmothers plum tree...but what better translation of a branch, being fruitful. Simplicity confined to sweetness.

Nice plums

I REALLY like this photo because of the fruit and how infocus it is. I also like how you only focused in on the branch and fruit and then how the background is so unfocused.

Nice composition, strong colours and great focus and DOF.

Fantastic tones, focus, & DOF. Not as crazy about the crop (think maybe a little more off to one side), but tough to take off much from this shot. Great job.

Finally we have an open challenge with such great quality pictures. This is surely amongst top 10%. 9.
