Masterful B&W image, with a great set of tonal grays. The only thing that bugs me is the motto on the top front - I can barely read it. A bit of PP there to make it pop would add to the whole image, IMO. |

Composition: I think the picture is centered well, but you could have gotten a different angle, maybe you did on your out takes, the pillars and the stairs are straight, thats good,
Color: the leves seem to be a little dark, and the right top of the building is a little blow out.
Detail: Great detail i can see the figures and read the writing on the building
My opinion: I think this is a good branch idea, part of the three branches of goverment we adhere to, it could have been a bit brighter, what would have been really cool is if you did it when the shaddows of the pillars were showing to the left or the right, over all this is a good shot,
keep shooting |

Another picture I am pretty happy with. I knew I didnt want to take a picture of a literal branch, I suspected people would see a lot of those anyway and it just didnt get my creative juices flowing. I am really pleased that a few people got what I was going for. I wanted the building to appear imposing. I wanted the building to appear like a monolith. I do agree that a shot later in the day might have allowed more of the fresco on the top to stand out. Also I think I could have played with the shadows and brightness a bit more to improve it a bit. |

I might have simply titled it Judicial Branch. Really like the darkness between the pillars and the perspective gives it an appropriate imposing feel. I like it! |

A strong composition and I like the relief from the theme of tree branches. To be a truly great shot however, I'd like to see outtakes of several versions at different times of the day. The direction of the light at the moment doesn't sculpt the form as strongly as it could considering how strong the light is. |

Maybe try a different angle to add some interest |

Very flat on the highlights. Needs better light. Perhaps an exposure compensation by a step would have brought out the contrast between darks and lights better. |

This photo has the potential for being very imposing and powerful, but the angle doesn't achieve that. A bit boring, sorry. |
