Now I know the point of it.

This shot was interesting to me although many of you didnt get it. A friend( on the road) and I were on a road trip and on a stop at a rest area he sat in the middle of the road looking westward toward the sun, which happen to be our final destination. Sunny cali. I thought it summed up our trip and for me perfectly fit into the challenge,.. sorry so many of you could get past the fact that he was just sitting on the road. Its quite symbolic to me. Thanks

the tree next/behind the man's head bothers me. Makes him look weird.

Very contemplative. I like the long shadows. The mood of this photo is a bit like some scenes from "My Own Private Idaho". Roads are interesting, symbolic things, you used the concept well.

What is the point of this?? Really!

dont stare into the sun.

a car behind him would have made this pic a 10

The horizon seems to almost cut this in half, but the texture of the road is wonderful. Glad you chose b&w for this.

I look at this and wonder why he's sitting in the middle of the road... but I keep looking at it so I'm scoring accordingly.

This is a perfectly good composition for the most part, but the lighting or brightness of this photo seems a little weak.. This looks like either early morning or late afternoon based on the length of the shadow... I'm not sure why you chose black and white... maybe color would have been better on this one?

I think a more off-center composition might have been more dynamic. I like the pose and the expression though.

I don't get this at all, I'm sorry. What is he doing? did someone steal his bike? Technically it looks OK though

Watch out here comes a truuuccckkkk!!!!! Nice picture couldnt be more on topic for this Challenge. Why black & white?

Maybe frame it so that the subject is down and to the left slightly, then the shadow won't run out of the picture quite so much.

Interesting... Very zen-like. The low sun angle adds nice strong shadows on the subject and the texture of the road as well. A look of determination on the subject's face... Staring into the sun as if to oppose it. Nice shot!

Nice picture, good job. I'd work on the contrast a little though.

Did you try this with a car screaming down the road from behind? Good imagery (use of elements). Subject's glasses are unfortunate, but I wear them and understand issues about seeing eyes. Try it w/o the glasses, nobody else has to know he's blind. Also, the background trees appear almost black, did you want that? Did you try this from the opposite side of the road? (Just suggestions, do your own thing! It's working.)

Looks more like a turkey than a chicken. Sorry I really tried to not say that. I voted down for the gray on gray. Black and white should have both this has tones of gray.
