The image itself is not bad at all however it really doesn't say Home Sweet Home it says Home of the Brave.
The large flag appears to be the main focus of the image, however even the focus on it is a bit soft. Possibly an unsharpening mask may have helped.
Overall it is a nice photo of NYC just doesn't say home sweet home.

| I'm going to have to grade this down a bit for not being about YOUR home, IMHO. This is of course just my own (perhaps over-narrow) interpretation of the challenge, but I have to draw lines somewhere to make judging easier, and I feel people who tried to shoot their own home deserve a better chance at high scores. That's a public building, not a home. |
