It's hard to see when everything's blurry. I think I would've liked it better if the fence was in more focus.

For me, the out of focus area is too large in the foreground. My eyes are "blocked" by this and I don't really look at the rest of the photo. Good idea however.

Interesting, though I'm not sure of the DOF quality.

Nice idea but the DOF is too shallow IMO, especially in the front it is distracting.
