Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi Olimar...
I think this is an excellent composition. The pose and subject choices blend nicely to create a nice sense of warmth and beauty within this image. The only issue that I can't seem to understand myself is the choice for the depth of field. The focus falls off on the right side of your model's face, and I can't really understand the purpose of not having both eyes in focus. Since both of her eyes are playing an equal role in the composition, I don't think it's a good idea to try to shift attention to one or the other. There is not a lot of natural front to rear depth in this photo, so having only a portion of it within depth of field seems a bit strange to me. There is also a significant color shift of skin tones on her face. As I read your notes, I can assume that this was caused by the silver reflector. The light on the left seems cooler than that on the right, which would make sense. You introduced a different color of light into the scene with that reflector. Light bouncing off another surface will take on the color of that surface, in this case it was the silver (cooler colored light).
All in all, this is an excellent presentation... nice work :)

The focus is a little too soft for my liking, but the lighting looks really great. And the flower is a nice touch. |

Very pleasant looking photo. I like how this isn't your typical hyper-sharpened photo that usually takes the ribbons. |

Looks like a perfume ad. I like how you've lit the background and model. The flower is a perfect addition. It looks just a tad out of focus in the further areas of the face; could use a greater DOF. 9+ |

..."natural"?...an elegant image indeed, but I am a little hard pressed to see "natural" in this image...the lovely "posed" , or at least camera aware model is wearing quite a bit of makeup, the calla lily...not sure if it's real...and this appears to be an image made in a studio type of setting? I could be dreadfully wrong...and I do apologise ahead of time if I am...but for me, and I have been ripped for "title" comments before... the title, border, and image are a package deal...if they don't matter as some say...why add them. |

The focus is too shallow but every thing else is very good.
Wish the edge of the flower was in the frame. |

not a bad thing to have a softness when it comes to the skin...but the eyes need to be sharp |

Very nice. How did you do the background here? Is that a sheet of cloth, paper? Is the light bounced or from behind? |

round smooth shot hurt by lack of crisp edges at the features. 90 percent of this shot is perfect, but you either missed the focus, used too soft a lens or mess up the post procssing. if not for that it would ribbon |

Margar góðar Ãslenskar hér, verður spennandi að sjá hvernig þetta endar. Glæsileg mynd! Ramminn truflar mig örlÃtið, væri áhugavert að sjá sömu myndina cropaða à hlutföllunum 1x1. Engu að sÃður eina af mÃnum uppáhalds à keppninni. |

I'm not sure I really like the soft focus of this picture. The model is beautiful with very pretty eyes and nice skin tone. Nice pose. |
