Critique Club Comment:
Strangely enough, my first reaction was COOL.
Then I read the notes and it's clear to me why this pic scored low.
But the score you got is way too low imho.
Where is the rule about too much Post processing?
I like it, it wouldn't be my pick for the blue, but somewhere around a 5.4 – 5.6 would have been a more realistic score if I was the sole judge...
Well I guess you have learned a lesson. Not everybody has the same taste ;)
And DPC is a real difficult crowd when it comes to “different” pictures.
Out of the box is never a good idea if you want to score, but it is cool....

| I normally don't like hue/sat wierdness but I thought the end result here was great. I was one of the 7 voters. Not enough against the hordes...sorry. |

| The processing on this is a little out there. Composition is alright, maybe a little tight. The eyes and her expression are nice. Definitely an "out of the box" type portrait. :-) |
