Taken last night while my husband and I were in Taos. We stopped at the rest area to walk our dog and I took this with my 100-400mm hand held. Usually, my moon pictures taken when it's really dark and the moon is bright don't turn out. I used a fast shutter speed which turned out to be the way to do it!

Nice shot. I have also being experimenting with this. It goes ok now but I do not know how to take a picture of the moon when there are also clouds. Then when using the fast shutter speed the clouds just disappear and make the moon foggy.

Sammie, This is GREAT! I always have a hard time with the moon! This is really clear and the title is great too!! :)
