Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi Napalm Nymph...
I think the pose in this photograph has some nice potential. There are several items that bother me here... 1 - The composition with the model's arm clipped/cropped out of the frame on the right feels extremely uncomfortable and cramped. 2 - the lighting creates an unnaturally warm background along with an uneven light temperature on her face. One side of her face is cooler than the other. 3 - the final issue is the lack of sharpness, probably due to camera shake or motion blur with the length of exposure you had (1/10") for this photo. This says that you need more available or artificial light to create a situation where you could get a faster shutter speed. At 1/10", a tripod won't help much because if your model moves in the least, it will create the same problem...
Keep up the good efforts :)

Beautiful! Love the color but the background yellow is a bit distracting from the subject. |

Like the colours, the soft-focus works well |

If it weren't for the blur around the face, and eyes especially, I would have scored this better. I like the hat and pose though. |

hmm i dunno if i'm liking the crop on her arm. it's kind of in between being in the picture and not. the vertical length seems good though. i think the inclusion of the arm would have been better though. it would also have acted more of a frame around her head as well. i like this shot though, great colors and you'll probably get a lot of comments about bad white balance or warm tones, but i think it goes well with the casualness of this shot |

The yellow background really kills it for me. Good skin tones and interesting composition. |

So many beautiful women with red hair in the challenge. Another one here. Great bright colors. Lack of fine detail, and textures will probably hurt the overall score of this image, although a very fine composition, with a great and interesting expression on the model. Good Luck. <6> |

Nice image. Composed well. Just a bit harsh on the flash. It shows in the cheeks and forearm. |

Great color but just too soft at the eyes. there are distracting white lines in the hair, from either oversharpening or raterization from the reduction. The expression and pose are good, and the colors are great, but not as strong technically |

I love this photo. Very vibrant! I love how the purple offsets the yellow background. In my top 10! |

Nice portrait. The first thing I notice is the eyes which have come out really well. Not too impressed with the background. good luck! |

The neat image is a little overused here but the colors are stunning enough for that to not be a big issue. Stunning eyes on this model. Great Shot. |

Something here just isn't working for me. Im not sure if its the hat or the pose of the model. I think I would have rather seen her without the hat, and having a more relaxed look on her face. The lighting is really nice, and her face is very unusual. |
