At the end of the day in my castle, a hot bath and a cold beer help prepare me for the chase of the sandman...

another fine shot John. I didn't vote this challenge, so I didn't see it until now. may I suggest running the water to give the impression of fillin the tub? as always, love the tones in this photo.. it is consistent with your fine work.

Hey John, maybe if you would have shown a bit more leg you would have got a higher score. lol ;-)

How on earth did you take this without killing yourself trying to get back in the tub before the timer went off? And how many shots did it take?

Young man...your spending way too much time in that bathroom. lol
Great shooting John.

I thought that border looked familiar. :) As mentioned below, lighting and contrast of the curtain against the shadows falling just past the subjects knee creates an interesting mood.

There may be other colorful photos, but this one has more meaning and I wanna hop in the tub and have a brew as I am viewing it. Good luck in the voting. 8

Left to right: Tiles: spotless - no esthetic 'tour-de-force'; fixtures - functional Americana; leg - a male's, caucasion between 18 and 35; beer - domestic, but bottled, suggestive of a cultured pedestrianism; hands and manicure - neither a pianist's nor a coachman's; curtain - ornate fabricated lace imitation reminiscent of sea creatures in accesory style.

The lighting in this shot is superb and appropiate like everything else. The curtan alone, with the light on it, provides a repose from the sanitary bathroom idyll. :-)

I may be dense, but I don't get it. It's a nice black and white with good contrast and lighting though.

Nice clean shot. Suggestion: maybe have the feet resting up on the faucets? 8

As my wife will confirm, my favourite place in our house! Great picture, the beer is a superb idea and works well. Nicely composed. 9
