This is colour and no it is not an edit.
I used macro mode to focus on the flowers which gave a very narrow DOF. The house is built from bargate (brownish) stone and the concrete was already greyish. I then just did replace colour in photoshop on the whole image selecting one of the stones as the colour to replace. I then pulled the saturation all the way back to give the B & W feel to the house.

Title doesn't make sense for me... is there something blocking (obscuring) your view of the garden?? If so, what is it? Is it part of the picture?? Also wish you could focus on the flowers toward the top of the plant instead of the sharp looking leaves at the bottom.
