I like the lighting scheme, especially the catchlight in the eye on the left (right eye), although I might have tried to tone down the shininess on the face just a tiny bit. |

Good use of light to dark, but perhaps a little too dark on the left - or maybe it's just my monitor. Nice portrait. |

The dramatic look is great, but I would have liked to have seen just a bit more of the left side of his face. It could be my monitor, but all I see there is a pin point of light from his eye and it is distracting instead of adding value. |

I like it. Good lighting and shadows, the hairline color border adds a nice touch as well. |

exposure and tonal range are good. shadows are a bit too dark on the right of his face. the use of a reflecting card or the like (e.g., big piece of white cardboard, a white cloth) held outside the frame can work wonders in shadow reduction. |

i like this, i think the shadow is a cool effect, and a good looking model is always a plus ;-) 8 |

Too much red tones......the whole photo has a pinkish cast to it. Awesome intensity in the eyes. |

Really good pose and lighting. Eyes are overdone though. Like the border too. |
