I do like this photo, it was one that grabbed my attention during the challenge. Something about being a little different between the way the photo was shot and the lighting made it stand out. I think you did an excellent job capturing the light his eyes. The overall shadowing and light is very appealing. The background also suits the image very well. The only thing I found a little odd in the photo, is in his eye there is weird shading. Maybe the shading is caused by a contact and was picked up the way the light was falling on the subject. I do really like the lighting, I would be curious to see the photo with his shoulder down just a bit leaving the shadow off of this mouth. I think the post editing you did is also very nice. Good job!

Light to dark is too harsh a contrast IMO. Perhaps a little softer light on the eyes and a tad more in the shadow.

The lighting is nice.

great image... not enough of the face showing to be a true portrait IMO but good enough to advertise any line of mens product... great subject... :)

But they are not in focus! I also don't like the sun/shadow effect.

Nice pose....but the light is too harsh. Hard to control I know.

Love how the background brings out the color in his eyes. Nice picture.

Great expression, but the sun may be a little harsh for my taste.

A respectable image but a dash too soft and a little too much of his faced lies behind shadow.

A nice contemplative look. It's also nice to see a guy (cute one too) instead of stereotypical female models. Good luck in the challenge. 8

Nice idea.. I would recomment a different crop to make the eyes appear not so centred, and perhaps sharpen some more. Good luck in future challenges.
