It would be a much much better picture of it were clearer... did you consider getting the ant closer up? I think it would have been effective.

Too blurred for me! BUT I like the thinking behind it and that was quite spot on for the challenge really, it's a nice moment caught in time.

Not very good focus. I hate to be mean, but this is an absolutely TERRIBLE photo!

If you could have gotten closer, OR had a clearer focus, this shot would have been much more interesting and effective, I think. The ant just kinda blends in with everything else.

Seems a bit blurry - and the subject's home isn't even in the pic...really long way from home.

Interesting idea. Not so great execution. I would try a different angle.. and certainly make sure it is in focus.

I can see what you were going for here, but I think it needed to be executed a little better overall. It's hard to pick out the ant, and the overall image is a bit blurry.

Nice idea but the ant is too small and out of focus to grab the viewers attention. This would probably have worked well as a macro shot.

Apparently worker ants are basically automatons controlled chemically by the colony, so whether they have a concept of home sweet home life that could meet the challenge focus is a point of doubt. The shot does demonstrate keen powers of observation, however, with pleasant pastel pink and green hues free from oversaturation.
