I had brought my camera on a biking trip with me this weekend to try and come up with some good pictures. I did get what I believe to be a technically correct photo of train tracks curving off into the distance, which I think might have done well but never really inspired me. As I was biking, though, I noticed my friend in my mirror and was taken by the thought of capturing it. It was quite a challenge to bike and photograph at the same time. I ride a recumbant, so going long periods of time with only one hand is no problem, but getting the angle, exposure, and motion blur on the ground but not the subject was challenging -- especially while hand-held. Unfortunately I never got my left arm out of the photo because I did need at least one hand on the handlebars, so I'm sure it'll get knocked on composition, but I still like the photo a lot.

Quite an interesting shot, but I wonder if an off centre crop might have worked a little better. Good effort all the same tho |

This is a good photo and the perspective is good yet the mans leg is too hairy. |

I like everything about this photo, the angle, the concept, even the hairy arm in the foreground (LOL!). Only tiny thing that is bothersome is the shadowing on the rider in the mirror. Great execution and concept! |
